Christmas spirit fills CWU hall

A special Christmas Evening of Gospel Praise will take part on Saturday November 24 at Lisburn CWU Mission Hall in Market Street.

This popular annual event is well attended and this year it is expected to see the Mission Hall well filled.

Those taking part in the evening will include the Ballymena Presbytery Male Voice Choir, who will be making a first visit to the Lisburn Hall.

Well known soloist John Boyd from Moira will also be featured, as well as soloist Rosnah Anderson from Armagh.

From Randalstown husband and wife duettists Joseph and Sandra Kennoway will be making a welcome return. Joseph who plays for the Drive-In Church at Portrush during the summer months is a talented musician. He will also be the guest pianist on the night.

Pastor Jackie Hughes from Ballykeel will be there to chair the whole event and lead the congregation in old time Christmas carols. He will conclude with an Epilogue message.

There will be a Christmas Buffet Supper provided for all by the Lisburn Christian Workers Union Hall and a Freewill Offering will be taken for the gospel outreach work of the Mission Hall.

A warm welcome is extended to everyone to come along and enjoy this festive evening.

The service commences at 7.30pm and those attending are encouraged to come early.
