Could you help develop the Faughan Valley?

If you are looking for a new challenge, exercise and a chance to help improve the countryside, check out the volunteer opportunities with the Faughan Valley Landscape Partnership.

In January ,February and March there will be tree planting in various sites throughout the valley, providing free training in path construction and organising a variety of stream clean ups.

Mayor Councillor Martin Reilly encouraging people to volunteer, said: “The Faughan Valley is a beautiful place to be, stretching from Park through Claudy, Drumahoe and Eglinton to the edge of the City. By volunteering people get the opportunity to enjoy this landscape, as well as help to protect it for future generations.”
