Ballymena court hears man told police in Ahoghill: 'I can say Fenian all I want' and his brother added: 'You are a Prod in a loyalist area, of course you can'
A court was told that after a man in Ahoghill told police "I can say Fenian all I want" his brother added: "You are a Prod in a loyalist area, of course you can".
Details were given on Thursday as the 31-year-old defendant admitted being disorderly in Ahoghill and also at Antrim Area Hospital.
Dylan Morgan, with an address listed as Kittoch Heights in Glasgow, was also in possession of diazepam.
He appeared at Ballymena Magistrates' Court on Thursday via video link from prison.

A prosecutor said that on March 1, 2024, police were in Ahoghill and the defendant was "highly aggressive" to officers at the entrance to apartments, saying he "wouldn't listen to police until his brother was allowed in".
"Police then conveyed his brother to the police vehicle whereupon him and his brother made sectarian slurs".
She said Dylan Morgan's brother had told police: "I can say Fenian all I want" and then Dylan Morgan had said: "You are a Prod in a loyalist area, of course you can".
Dylan Morgan had concealed a "large bag" of tablets which he attempted to consume whilst handcuffed, the court heard.
He was "escorted to hospital" and at the busy waiting room he was shouting: "I want to see a f*cking doctor now".
He continued to shout and was "aggressive" with officers and was "continually shouting and swearing at them" and "had to be removed from the hospital due to his ongoing behaviour".
Meanwhile, in an incident in September 2024, he obstructed police and was in possession of pregabalin.
A prosecutor said police were at a "serious crime scene" at 10pm at communal flats and the defendant had been "continually obstructive and threatened to breach the cordon".
When a search took place pregabalin was found and the defendant told police he was addicted to it.
A defence barrister said the defendant had "absconded, he went to Scotland, when he was due to to be sentenced for matters which I think have now been dealt with".
The barrister said the last entry on the defendant's record was criminal damage which was dealt with in September when he received two months in prison.
He added that in 2024 the defendant had been in "serious throes of serious substance misuse".
Deputy District Judge Mark Hamill jailed the defendant for four months and fined him £200.
He said disorderly behaviour in a hospital was "not tolerable".
In May this year, Andrew Thomas Morgan (34), with an address listed as Orkney Drive in Ballymena, appeared at the court in connection with being disorderly in Ahoghill on March 1 in 2024 and assaulting a police officer and resisting another officer.
That court was told Andrew Morgan had gone to a door in Ahoghill and was "asking a resident out for a fight".
Andrew Morgan had struggled with police at the door.
A prosecutor had told that court: "He was shouting 'I can say Fenian all I want' and other slurs similar to that". Andrew Morgan had been fined £600 in May.
