Mark Branagan, of Whitehall Road, Aghagallon, is accused of causing death by careless driving, no driving licence, no insurance and being an unaccompanied L driver.

He was arrested following the tragic death of Pauline Downing on the Lurgan Road, Aghagallon on October 23 this year.

Branagan’s barrister Mr Peter Coiley said the case had been listed for a bail application but his client was no longer in a position to proceed with that.

He sought a four-week remand adding that if there is a change regarding bail he will bring the matter back before the court.

The case was adjourned until November 27.
