Man who lives in Lisburn denies charges of assault, criminal damage, and non-fatal strangulation
A man with an address in Lisburn has appeared in court charged with a number of offences, including common assault, criminal damage, and non-fatal strangulation.
He appeared before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 29, 2026 and made no comment when the charges were put to him by a court official.
The facts of the case were not opened in court. However it is understood the charges relate to an incident on January 1, 2026.
The defendant, Marcin Krzysztof Czerwinski (40), whose address was given as Maralin Avenue, said that he did not want to make any written statements.

He had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges and intends to contest them in court.
The public prosecutor said she believed there was a prima facie case to answer and the Defence made no contrary submission.
The defendant was released on his own bail of £500 to be arraigned at Craigavon Crown Court on December 1, 2026.
