Craig Walker from Coleraine who was supported by The Trust said: “The 40th birthday event today was great!

“The Prince’s Trust gave me a second chance at life; they gave me and my family hope and as a consequence of that second chance, I’ve now got a job I love and a new home. If anyone else out there needs some support, I totally recommend that you get in touch with them!”

The event was an extravaganza of entertainment with local singers, FabLab digital designs, interactive selfie photo frame, lunch and music from DJ Kwa.

Young entrepreneurs from Londonderry, who have been supported by The Prince’s Trust on the Enterprise programme also displayed their wares in the Main Hall of the Guildhall.

Mark Dougan, Acting Director at The Prince’s Trust said: “I am blown away by the amazing level of support received from the people of Derry/Londonderry at the Guildhall today. I am sure that the inspirational stories shared at the celebration will inspire more young people to find out how The Trust can help them.”

Supporters of The Trust who were unable to attend one of the tour events are invited to share their stories online using #partofPT.
