Scott Mayne from Gowanvale Drive was in breach of a suspended prison sentence, heard last week’s local Magistrates Court.

A PPS prosecutor told the court how on 12 May police were informed that four memory cards valued at £79.96 had been stolen.

When officers viewed CCTV they were able to identify Mayne.

They called at his house and he surrendered three of the cards.

He admitted taking all four and told police he had sold the fourth one to an unknown drunk male.

All other cards were fit for resale.

The court heard how the suspended sentence was in relation to a burglary charge.

Deputy District Judge Mr Joe Rice said, “Dishonesty seems to be the theme throughout as well as drugs.”
