Witness appeal after hit and run at NI supermarket

Police have appealed for witnesses after a hit and run incident at a NI supermarket.

The incident happened in the car park at ASDA in Portadown on Friday January 8.

In an online post, the PSNI said: “Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a Hit and Run RTC in Asda car park, Portadown on Friday 08th January 2021.

“Shortly before 3.20pm a blue Volkswagen Passat was hit causing considerable damage to the passenger side of the vehicle.

“The driver of the offending vehicle did not remain on scene and we are looking to speak with that person.

“If that was you, please make contact with us by ringing 101 and quote reference 1008 08/01/21. If anyone else has any information or dash cam footage of this RTC please make contact with us quoting the reference.”
