Dean is Bishop’s Commissary
The Dean of Derry, Very Rev Dr William Morton, has been appointed to act as Commissary for the Bishop of Derry during late October and early November.
Bishop Ken Good is to visit the Diocese of Butere in Kenya, from October 22 to November 9.
It is just over 100 years ago that Rev Walter Chadwick, from the Diocese of Derry and Raphoe, who served as a CMS missionary, established the first Christian Church at Butere.
