Deaths in the community

Noel Campbell

The death took place peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on July 3 of Noel Campbell, husband of the late Hannah, 1 Kilvoragh Park, Lurgan.

He was the father of Paul, Peter, Roisin, Pauline and the late Eugene and Gerald.

His funeral was on Friday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Patrick McCavigan

The death took place at his home on July 16 of Patrick (Paddy) McCavigan, 46 Belvedere Manor, Lurgan.

He was the husband of Ursula (Tighe) and son of Sean and Marie McCavigan.

He was the brother of Marian, Gerard (Goose), Anne, John, Laurence (Freddie), Thomas (Beau) and Mark (Buzzer).

His funeral was on Thursday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.

Mary Ann Fitzpatrick

The death took place peacefully at hospital on July 25 of Mary Ann (May) Fitzpatrick, 65 Russell Drive, lurgan.

She was the wife of the late Tommy and mother of Tom, Ian and Gail.

Also regretted by daughters-in-law Joan and Pat, son-in-law Ian grandchildren, great grandson and family circle.

Her funeral was on Sunday to High Street Methodist Church with interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Margaret Jess

The death took place suddenly at hospital on July 26 of Margaret (Peggy) Jess, nee Wallace, wife of David, 64 Dunbarton Street, Gilford.

She was the mother of Elaine, mother-in-law of Melvin and grandmother of Matthew and D’arcy.

Also regretted by sister Kathleen brother-in-law Henry, cousins Enid, Laura, Terrence and families.

Her funeral was on Monday to Gilford Presbyterian Church with interment in Tullylish Parish Church.

Imelda May

Imelda May, nee Casey, died peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital on July 26.

She was the mother of Amanda and Matthew, 14 Sloan Hill Mews, and formerly of Lower North Street, Lurgan.

Granny of William, Sean, Harrison and Sienna she was the daughter of the late Michael and Esther Casey and sister of Anne, Michael, Esther, Frances, Mary, Una, Brendan and the late 
Jerome.

Also regretted by son-in-law Ian, daughter-in-law Lucy and the family circle Lurgan, England and Canada.

Her funeral was on Monday to St Peter’s Church with interment in St Colman’s Cemetery.
