Drink driver in Cookstown had stash of empty bottles in footwell of car
Police arrested a suspected drink driver in Cookstown at the weekend and uncovered a stash of empty bottles of alcohol in the vehicle.
“This evening an arrest was made by Neighbourhood Police in the Orritor area of Cookstown for driving whilst unfit through alcohol,” the police said on Saturday.
“This was the alcohol which had been consumed and found in the passenger footwell.
“We are glad to get a driver like this off our roads and makes our job worthwhile to keep our roads safe for all.”
