“It is excellent to see Lurgan Park used for a province wide event and being utilised to bring about an economic draw to the town and to the Borough. I would commend the organisers of the rally and am delighted this year that the chosen charity was that of the Northern Ireland Children’s Cancer Fund (Daisy Lodge). A very well done to the winner Mr Gary Jennings and to all the participants.

“It certainly has put Lurgan Park firmly on the map again.”

The DUP’s group leader on the ABC Council, Carla Lockhart, said, “This event is always one I look forward to and I am pleased that Council supports it with financial and practical assistance.

“It was great to see some of the big names coming to Lurgan Park with Gary Jennings, and Kenny McKinstry from Banbridge in the main frame for winning for most of the day. It was hotly contested and I would congratulate all of the participants and particularly Gary on winning the title this year again. I would also commend Mr William Fullerton and his strong team of workers for organising such a superb event. These events don’t just happen by chance there are hours of organising and I would commend each person involved. We are already looking forwarding to next year and making it a bigger and better event with the buy in now from the entire ABC area.”
