“I’m delighted he’s backing the Bosom Buddies campaign which aims to educate and empower women of all ages about breast cancer.”

Mr Durkan said: “I am delighted to support this innovative campaign by Bosom Buddies who are doing great work spreading the word on identifying breast cancer to young people.

“Their ultimate goal is to reduce the number of women contracting breast cancer by early detection at an early age – and with around 55,000 people being diagnosed every year we need to act fast!”
