Watch: flyover video shows ongoing redevelopment work at Carnfunnock Country Park

The drone footage, shared on the council’s social media pages, shows the multi-million-pound project taking shape with the steelwork having been erected in recent weeks.

"The transformation will include a new visitor centre with a shop, café and multi-use rooms and an amenity block for visitors to the caravan park,” MEABC said.

"A challenging bike park, including pump track and jump trail, and an extended children’s adventure play park will provide fun and excitement for all ages.”

Delivered through £6.1m of funding from the UK Government, the regeneration project commenced in July 2025 and was expected to last approximately 15 months.
