Raceview Mill had been providing jobs and creating employment for generations but had fallen derelict and dangerous and was set for demolition.

It has been rescued from the JCB’s and re-opened as an Arts & Craft, Enterprise and Visitor Centre.

Visitors to the market will be able to see the new village square, complete with a village pump, art gallery and a quirky coffee shop called “the Red Brick”.

The new village square leads to Mill Lane where a number of local businesses are opening including craft manufacturers, garden designers, bakers, furniture restorers, alternative health professionals, a vet and Shiny Bikes.

Raceview Mill is home to one of the largest indoor market areas outside of Belfast.

After the huge success of the indoor market last month at Raceview, this month is set to be just as big, and with over 40 local craft and food stands already booked the market is well worth a visit.
