"Ricky had been involved in many of our activities and excursions over the last 23 years and indeed was very much involved in our recent 100th Anniversary Commemoration Event at First Cookstown Presbyterian Hall in June-July 2016.

"We extend our sympathy to his son Andrew, his daughter Melissa, his sisters and his grandchildren."

Mr Glasgow, who passed away peacefully at hospital on March 16, is being laid to rest in the family burying ground at Cookstown Cemetery after his funeral service, which leaves his Loy Street home at 12noon.

Dearly loved father of Andrew and Melissa, father in law of Joan, he also leaves behind grandchildren Richard, Stuart, Adam, Scott, Jason and Jamie.

"Very deeply regretted by the entire family circle," a post on Funeral Times said.
