Girl Guides hold district fun day at Tollymore Forest

The district included members of the senior section, Guides, Brownies and Rainbows from Newry, Rathfriland and Drumgooland (Ballyward).

Every group undertook different activities with the Brownies and Rainbows completing a squirrel hunt, scavenge hunt and games and the Guides completing a trail using a map and compass to find their route round Tollymore Forest.

All gathered together at the end to sing campfire songs.

They would like to say a big thank you to Drumgooland senior section who organised all the activities for each group as part of their Chief Guide Challenge.

A very enjoyable day was had by all the girls and their leaders.
