Give it a Go proves to be great success

THIS year’s ‘Give it a Go’ programme has been proving a massive hit.

The programme, which offers reduced-price activities to help people be active, eat well has seen people in Craigavon taking advantage of the exciting range of events on offer.

This year’s programme kicked off on March 1 at Tesco, Craigavon when the ‘Give it a Go!’ Roadshow visited, giving people an opportunity to try a range of free activities.

Throughout March, events and classes have been organised to give local people the chance to try a wide variety of activities at special promotional rates, including gym and fitness suite promotions, weight loss clubs, family eco-trails and family fun cycles.

‘Give it a Go!’ has been organised through a partnership between Public Health Agency (PHA), Southern Group Environmental Health Committee, Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Armagh City and District Council, Banbridge District Council, Craigavon Borough Council and Newry and Mourne District Council.
