Green candidate calls for MCZ
East Antrim Green Party candidate Dawn Patterson is calling for the Islandmagee area to be considered as part of the new proposed network of Marine Conservation Zones.
Ms Patterson said that the area near Gaelectric’s proposed CAES station contained species under consideration for MCZ status elsewhere, such as black guillemots.
