Around 250 vehicles were stopped and checked in the Mid Ulster area yesterday as part of the PSNI’s ongoing commitment to combating rural crime.

The operation resulted in one arrest, an illegal drugs detection, two vehicle seizures and several detections for use of rebated fuel.
