It's good to text

It's a Union Jack when it's on a ship. Anyway the flag of "our" country is the cross of St Patrick not St George's Cross. You really haven't a clue!

If the nationalists of Lurgan don't like the flags of this country they should move down south.

Lurgan will always be red, white and blue and only those who are offended want to be offended. Remember Ulster is British enjoy the colour for them glorious two months. Bishop, Portadown.

Responding to a text in the Lurgan Mail on July 8, a person said that both Catholics and Protestants died in the First World War, most of whom are from the Republic of Ireland. Is it or is it not the Tricolour the national flag of Ireland. Well why don't they fly it as well if they say it's a cross community event! The Orangemen in Donegal carry the Tricolour and Union Jack on their parades why can't the Lurgan ones? Too sectarian that's why!

I could laugh at the Protestant in last week's Lurgan Mail complaining about Catholic youths running about rioting in Drumbeg, grow up and stop trying to make Catholics out to be making all the trouble, you are the ones who put the flags up all down the town trying to intimidate the Catholic youths, even more intimidating is the fact you always try and get as far into the Catholic end of town. When we celebrate Easter and St Patrick's Day we stay where we are welcomed and not try to walk up Mourneview.

Why come into our estate to wreck and burn. Why not destroy around your big house in Aghagallon.

James Craig is right about Sam Gardiner. It's time for some new blood!

Just wondering why Eire Og GAA club charge 10 for their summer camp. I thought a GAA club was for the community. My kids will be going to the Clans where you don't have to pay for the privilege! Angry Eire og supporter!

In response to the text about youths drinking at Maple Court and Beech Court, if more people could come out of their homes and move them on, not leaving it to the same people. There are those who know them, but just stand and watch. Let's stamp it out together.

Why did it take so long to clear Drumbeg roundabout after the trouble? The remains of burnt vehicles including wire and broken glass were still lying on the roads a week later.
