Latest: Police seize drugs, cash and vehicles in major swoop in Dungannon

Three men have been arrested after a swoop in Caledon and Dungannon, in which criminal property, cars motorcycles, drugs and cash seized.

A PSNI spokesman said: “At approximately 2am on the morning of Thursday 21 May, police stopped a car in the Dyan Road area of Caledon.

“Three men aged 24, 22 and 20 were all arrested on suspicion of concealing criminal property. A quantity of cash and the car were also seized.

“Further searches were then carried out at houses in the Dungannon area. Another car, a motorcycle, two mobile phones and a quantity of suspected drugs were recovered from these searches.

“The 24 year old man was further arrested on suspicion of possession of class A & B drugs and possession of class A & B drugs with intent to supply.

“The 20 year old man was further arrested on suspicion of possession of a class A controlled drug. All three men currently remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.”

Detective Inspector David Hallawell said: “Local police are working hard to keep people safe in the area and this operation shows that where we suspect criminality is taking place, we will act decisively.
