LATEST: Police treating death of 32-year-old man found in Tyrone garage as ‘suspicious’

Police have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 32-year-old man, whose body was found in a garage on the Moor Road, Coalisland.

The discovery was made just after 1pm yesterday afternoon [Thursday 15 October], and the death is being treated as suspicious by the PSNI.

A post-mortem examination will take place to determine the cause.

Detective Chief Inspector Lee McNevison, who is leading the enquiry, said: “If anyone saw anything unusual in the Moor Road area in recent days, we would like them to contact detectives in Dungannon by calling the non-emergency number 101.

“Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
