Major ‘Cruise car show’ coming to Magherafelt for motor enthusiasts

Motoring enthusiasts from across Mid-Ulster are invited to the NI Cruise Car Show which is taking place beside Castledawson roundabout on Saturday, August 16.

The event will take place in the Mid-Ulster Auction Grounds and will run from 11am to 4pm.

Organisers say the gates for the Show ‘n’ Shine opens at 9am sharp and everyone wishing to take part should be parked by 11am.

It is hoped that as many young motorists as possible will attend the event.

Last year’s event held at Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt, attracted huge interest from around the area.

As a result £2,360 was raised for Project Romania with funding raised from the annual show.

If you would like to take part cars will cost £10, lorries £15, bikes £5, and spectators £3.

Awards will be presented in the Show ‘n’ Shine - always a big attraction.

Entertainment and demos are a part of the event.

There will be live motor sport by Magherafelt and District Motor Club. There are also family attractions and entertainments.

Everyone welcome - another great day of education on all things relating to motoring to be looked forward to.
