Man is charged with having '¨Ecstasy with intent to supply
A 22-year-old man has been charged with having Ecstasy in his possession and intending to supply the drug.
Ashley Dowey, whose address was given as Merrion Drive, Lurgan, made a first appearance last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates court.
The charges against him allege that on May 12 this year he had in his possession a class A drug, namely Ecstasy, with intention to supply, unlawful possession of Ecstasy and unlawful possession of a class B drug, cannabis.
A police officer told Friday’s court sitting that she believed she could connect the accused with the charges.
Dowey was remanded until November 11 so that a full file could be obtained.
