Morale boosting donation of plants to health heroes at Craigavon Hospital

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Peter and Stephen McGrane of McGrane Nurseries Laurelvale, Portadown Wellness Centre were able to deliver 2,000 beautiful Senetti plants for the staff at Craigavon Area Hospital last week.

Both of our teams wanted to surprise the staff at the hospital with a lovely gift.

A spokesman for Portadown Wellness Centre said; “We began delivering plants from 11.00am and our two vans, very kindly donated by local businesses Gilford Van Hire and Shelbourne Motors kept bringing additional stock to the hospital all day.

“The nurses, doctors, auxiliary and domestic staff were absolutely delighted with their surprise gift and were so thankful and appreciative.

“I am sure we all agree, this amazing group of people are doing marvellous work at the ‘coalface’ of helping to manage the coronavirus outbreak and without doubt saving lives. Thank you so much from all of the local community.”
