New busservice with free WiFi
With the return of the busy autumn commuter period, Translink has announced a new direct Goldline coach service to run between Londonderry and Belfast, offering passengers better convenience and journey flexibility.
The new Goldline GX212 service compliments the existing 212 timetable and will depart Foyle Street Bus Station at 6.10am and return from Belfast Europa Buscentre at 5.45pm, Monday to Friday.

Hide AdSpeaking about the launch, Translink Service Delivery Manager, Foyle, Alan Young, said: “The return to work after the summer break can be a stressful time and we want to make it as hassle-free as possible.
“Goldline GX212 will pick-up at Foyle St Bus Station, Altnagelvin Hospital, Drumahoe P&R and Claudy Crossroads for a more direct journey into Belfast, saving an extra 10 mins and getting commuters into the City Centre for 8am.
“Goldline 212 is our popular flagship coach service between Belfast and Derry~Londonderry offering high levels of comfort and excellent service frequency. This is an exciting new development for this route that will enhance the existing timetable and offer customers better journey choices and a more direct service between both major cities.

“We know that value for money remains a priority for our customers and we would encourage them to take advantage of our Smartlink fare of just £5.70 per journey.
“Our coaches also take advantage of bus lanes approaching Belfast so customers can avoid sitting in queues of traffic congestion during rush hour. We hope that more people will choose the comfort, convenience and cost-savings of Goldline 212 and make the journey back to work a hassle-free one,” said Alan.
