‘Tree a sorry toothpick’

Public spending cut backs must really be taking their toll - with Lurgan’s Christmas tree this year looking totally pathetic.

The town’s tree is a sorry looking bedraggled toothpick of a thing.

I would also like to know why only one tree in the town centre? We have a long main street and surely they could find a tree for High Street to bring a bit of Christmas cheer there.

Come on Craigavon Council, you can do better than that!
