Final call for entries for 2026 Portrush Raft Race in aid of RNLI

It’s that time of year again when vessels of all shapes and sizes launch into the north Atlantic as part of the annual Portrush Raft Race.

This event has been running to raise funds for the RNLI for over 40 years and potential sailores are invited to build a raft, race it, and raise funds for the charity that saves lives at sea!

Registration will be from 11am-2pm on Kerr Street Green. The Raft Race will start at 3.30pm on West Strand Beach.

And, there’s so much more to enjoy on the day – from yoga in the morning to Zumba in the afternoon as well as lifeboat tours and sandcastle competitions – and don’t forget the ever popular Welly Wanging contest.

A limited number of pre-made rafts are still available so there’s no excuse to stay on shore. Full details of registration and fundraising on the Portrush Raft Race Facebook page
