The popular artist said he was delighted to return to the stage at Belfast Pride. "On Saturday, I experienced tens of thousands of people cheering on the LGBTQ+ community - pensioners, families, children, all different ages and races and it felt so joyous and liberating.
"Love won on Saturday, 'hate' was too busy sat at home on their devices criticising,” he said.
The Lurgan native, who is celebrating 10 years as a music artist, described performing on the main stage was a ‘full-circle moment’.

“I have just sold out my own self-produced UK Tour (London Crazy Coqs on Thursday 3rd September and The Black Box in Belfast on Sunday 13th September),” said Conleth.
One of his first major performances as a singer/songwriter was on the Belfast Pride stage when he had only had 2 original songs up his sleeve.
"It felt really good to return as a fully-seasoned artist with 4 bodies of work under my belt having toured stages all over the world performing my own original work. Nothing beats a Belfast crowd. The energy was electric,” he said.
His new music video 'A Little Respect', which was filmed in a church in East London, is already receiving rave reviews and marks the final visual offering from his Erasure-inspired EP, 'Erasure-esque'.

A year since his beloved mother Cilla died, Conleth described the project as ‘the biggest blessing’ in helping him through his grief.
“I have felt my Mum pushing me and guiding me. I truly believe that the only reason that I have been strong is because I can feel her touch from Heaven. Not a day goes by, she's on my mind every day.
"The creative outlet with Erasure-esque has been such a life-saver and it has brought be back to the stage, where I belong,” he said.
Now performing on stages across the UK and Europe, Conleth is one of the headline acts at Maspalomas Winter Pride this November (it's the biggest pride in Europe). “She would have loved nothing more.”
