Commenting ahead of the tournament, a RATH spokesperson said: “We are expecting around 10 teams from all over Belfast and further afield and it will be a range of disabilities competing.

Weather permitting we will have bouncy castles, Dinky Donuts and a chip van and we hope everyone who comes to watch the tournament will have an enjoyable time.

“Our theme is ‘See me for my ability, not my disability’ and the football played is quite competitive. A lot of the teams play in the IFA disability league which is played once a month.

“We would not have been able to hold this event without the support of Peace iv, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Wheelworks. Everyone is welcome to come and support the players.”
