Businesses, schools, churches, community and voluntary groups from across Antrim and Newtownabbey that provide festive cheer will be in the running for prestigious recognition in the Spirit of Christmas Awards 2022.

The accolades identify the amazing work that is carried out in communities around the borough.

The best lit street/town/village will win the ‘Light Up Award.’

The ‘Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree Award’ goes to the best programme of festive entertainment within a business or community setting.

The most festive school, church or community facility will receive the ‘Reason for the Season Award.’

The best dressed entrance feature or shop front will be recognised through the ‘Making an Entrance Award.’

The ‘Traditional Christmas Award’ recognises acts of goodwill during the festive season.
