Tyrone punter toasts four-figure win from trio of lotto numbers

The luck was in for a County Tyrone punter this weekend when they snatched a handsome four-figure profit thanks to just three Lotto numbers.

The anonymous customer landed the windfall by investing just £3.50 in a BoyleSports shop in the county, hoping the treble would land in the main EuroMillions draw on Friday evening.

They were left waiting on numbers 6, 12 and 15, with the chances of all three coming out rated at 1,500/1.

But it didn’t take long for the odds to collapse as all three numbers rolled within the first four, meaning the money was in the bag. It allowed them to return to the shop to pick up a total of £5,253.50.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Our Tyrone customer done well to turn their £3.50 stake into such a tidy sum so we send our congratulations to them and hope they enjoy a treat with the winnings.”
