Pink tribute at the Longfield Inn

ON Saturday night October 2, the UK's leading Pink tribute show featuring Alecia Karr will be appearing at the continuing successful series of cabaret /dance nights in the Longfield Inn, Longfield Road, Eglinton.

Pink has never been afraid to speak her mind, bare her soul, and share her deepest feelings in her songs. As she casually confers, “I have no choice. It’s what I do.” Indeed, it is what Pink does. With 23 million album sales, two Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and eight top 10 hit singles it is proof that the tattooed lady with the heart of a pussycat does what she does, well.

On her fifth studio album, Funhouse, Pink gets even more personal, more exposed, and more revealing.

Pink pulls no punches tackling the break-up issue with her husband on the first single, the infectious pop-rocker “So What,” which hit No. 1 on The Billboard Hot 100 in September 2008 making it the singer’s first No 1 solo hit song.

Alecia Karr’s tribute to Pink is sensational, colourful and full of vibrancy. She struts her stuff in a 90-minute jam-packed rendition of the Super Star’s entire catalogue of hit songs.

Alecia who is a star of television and radio has captured the very essence of the award winning American rock Icon. From the tip of her blonde hair to her tattoos, she not only bears a striking resemblance but her astonishingly powerful voice and stage performance is awe-inspiring.

Songs like ‘So what’, ‘There you go’ to hits from the albums ‘Misundaztood, ‘Try this’, ‘I’m not dead and the album ‘Funhouse’ are belted out with an uncanny sound–a–likeness.

Alecia also has several costume changes throughout the show and with spectacular lighting and sound effects the audience can be forgiven for thinking they are at a full-blown Pink concert Event.

Joe Corey Promotions, agents for the show indicate that it has played to capacity audiences throughout the UK and Ireland and is a must for any fan of the megastar.
