Police seize suspected legal highs in search of Larne shop

Police in Larne have today carried out a search of a Dunluce Street hydroponics store in partnership with Larne Borough Council’s enforcement officers.

It is understood that several sachets of so-called ‘legal highs’ were taken away for examination.

The enforcement operation is the second to be carried out on the premises this year.

In the first search over 300 sachets of legal high substances were removed from sale at the premises.

A destruction order has now been issued for these substances.
