British government must end delay and grant public inquiry into murder of Sean Brown - Mallaghan
Sinn Féin MP Cathal Mallaghan has called on the British government to end its continued obstruction and establish a public inquiry into the murder of Sean Brown.
Speaking after attending a public meeting in London to support the Brown family’s campaign, the Mid Ulster MP said: “There was a strong turnout from the London Irish community in support of the Brown family and their campaign for truth and justice tonight.

“This was followed by a powerful panel discussion involving Sean’s daughter Siobhán Brown, Director of the Pat Finucane Centre, Paul O’Connor and Niall Murphy.
“Nearly three decades after Sean’s murder, his family are still seeking answers. Throughout that time, they have demonstrated extraordinary courage and determination.
“The Brown family have now been forced to attend 57 court hearings, while the British Secretary of State has ignored Bridie Brown’s plea not to be dragged through another court hearing in London.”
Mr Mallaghan added that the British government “must end this delay.”
