In brilliant sunshine, with temperatures well into double figures by early morning, the small parade made it’s way through the Fountain, along Carlisle Road into The Diamond and down Society Street, where, after a short break, it moved off again, heading back along Ferryquay Street and Carlisle Road and across Craigavon Bridge in the direction of Spencer Road, where they disappeared from view en route to the Assembly field at Irish Street.

The main parade is due to get underway at 12pm and after the Religious Service at 3pm the parade will reform at 4.30pm and make its way back to the town centre.
