Emma Sheerin MLA said: "The Good Friday Agreement provides a democratic pathway to constitutional change, and it is important that preparations begin now, in advance of a referendum.

"Events like this create valuable opportunities for people to ask questions and engage in an informed discussion about Ireland's future.

"It was encouraging to see such strong interest from people who want to be part of that conversation."

Councillor Dee Varsani said: "What stood out from the discussion was the importance of ensuring that everyone feels they have a voice in shaping the future.

“Planning for the future is about more than constitutional arrangements. It is about considering how we can build a society that is fairer, more inclusive and offers opportunities for everyone.”
