Royal seal of approval given to members at Maghaberry WI
President of Maghaberry WI, Lynsay Johnston, welcomed Rev Derek Kerr to the February meeting where he gave a talk about the Royal Family and his various meetings with them through the years.
He brought a small collection from his Royal memorabilia and explained that any money he collected went towards the sponsorship of two African students through Fields of Life.
Members were reminded about the ACWW Walk on April 29 in Moira Demesne and the area meeting on April 21. Ballot winners were Mandy, May and Helen. Birthday girl was Mandy. Competition winners for a Valentine Poem were Dawn Robinson, Elaine Lappin and Sharon Coulter.
