Scouts holds annual St George's Day parade

Lisburn and District Scout Council held their annual St George's Day Parade and Service on Sunday afternoon (April 24).

Hosted by 1st Lambeg Scout Group, the parade assembled at Fort Hill College and accompanied by Baillies Mills Accordion Band, Ballylesson Old Boys Flute Band and Spa Accordion Band, made its way to Harmony Hill Presbyterian Church.

The service for squirrels, held in the church hall, was conducted by the assistant minister, the Rev Susan Moore.

The service for beavers, cubs and scouts, held in the church, was conducted by the minister, the Rev David Knox.

The special guest was Councillor Thomas Beckett, Mayor of Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council.
