Singing clergyman to close festival

The 200th anniversary celebrations continue at Leckpatrick Church of Ireland Parish in Ballymagorry with a Flower Festival this weekend and at the end, the popular singing cleric, accompanied by Artigarvan Primary School Choir, will lead the worship at the closing Praise Service on Sunday at 7.30pm.

The Flower Festival will officially open on Friday May 8.

The formal opening will be perfomed at by 10am His Grace the Duke of Abercorn.

From Friday at 10am until Sunday, May 10, the Church will be open to visitors from far and wide as Londonderry Floral Society presents their latest floral creations.

.Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Milliken Memorial Hall where refreshments will be available.
