Local artist Steve Diamond has spent several weeks out and about doing pencil drawings of the seaside town in summer.

The drawings have filled a sketch book that will be raffled off for the Whitehead-based charity.

A number of key local buildings are featured, including The Bank House, Whitehead Library, and Blackhead Lighthouse.

Tickets for the raffle cost £1, and are available from The Bank House on 12 Edward Road. All the proceeds go towards Hope House Ireland.

Hope House offers free short stay accommodation by the sea for adults with a recent diagnosis of cancer, and those who care for them.

The draw for the winner will take place at the town’s Food and Folk Fest.

Part of Whitehead’s summer festival, the event will be held at the recreation grounds on Saturday, July 30.
