Stewartstown PS pupil reaches one million words target
Kirsty Brodison, a P7 pupil, has become the first millionairess in Stewartstown P.S since the introduction of the very popular Accelerated Reading Programme which P3-P7 commenced in October 2013. Since that time Kirsty has read over one million words and successfully completed a quiz on each book read.
Ms Bolton, the Accelerated Reader Co-ordinator, said, “Kirsty is the first to have over one million words in her word bank but with the enthusiasm displayed by the pupils I am optimistic that more students will reach the Millionaire level in the not to distant future.”
