Stoneyford beacon will be lit once again
The Stoneyford Jubilee Committee are delighted to announce that this years 11th night beacon in Stoneyford will go ahead as planned.
Chairman William Roberts would like to thank the private funders who have so generously enabled the lighting of the beacon and associated activities. In discussions with the Stoneyford bonfire committee, agreement was confirmed that the bonfire will now be lit to commemorate the battle of the Somme in Stoneyford on Tuesday July 1 at 10pm. The Jubilee committee would also like to thank the local loyal orders for their continued support, and would also like to invite everyone in the community to the cross community events.
