Sweet treats at Dervock lights

The sound of sirens and flashing lights witnessed Santa being accompanied by members of the Neighbourhood Patrol Team (PSNI) to his Grotto in the Riverside Park, Dervock.

Santa’s little helpers gave out candy cane, Reindeer food and sweets to the little children.

The message this year – was the message of community - ALL sections of the community in helping to promote peace. To encourage those isolated/vulnerable members to engage in this annual festive event - therefore to some variance help with identity, a sense of belonging and Health & Wellbeing within the community.

The ‘Association’ would like to thank the officers of J District (PSNI) Neighbourhood Patrol Team, the Mill Tea Room and Causeway Coast and Glens council for funding this community event called ‘What’s after 12 Drummers drumming’ through their ‘Festive Fund’.
