Three vehicles, cash and credit cards stolen from Aughnacloy home

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following a burglary which resulted in the theft of vehicles and other items from residential premises in the Caledon Road area of Aughnacloy.

Detective Inspector Will Tate said: “It was reported that sometime overnight between the late evening of Wednesday 22 March and early hours of Thursday 23 March, entry was gained into the rear of the property and a number of items were stolen.

“These included a grey Mercedes C220 registration PJZ2588, grey Isuzu D Max registration THZ 6861, a green Yamaha 250CC Quad, substantial amount of cash, a credit card and a variety of garden tools.

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact detectives at Cookstown Reactive and Organised Crime Branch on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 102 of the 23/02/17.

“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
