Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Larne area this week.

Closures will operate daily unless otherwise stated.

Curran Road, Larne

There will be a road closure from Glenarm Road - Circular Road to Tower Road on Sunday, June 14 from 7:00am until 12:00pm.

The closure is required to repair a gravity sewer.

A diversion will operate with an alternative route via U4086 Curran Road, U4086 Coastguard Road, U4086 Olderfleet Road, U4086 Fleet Street, A0008 Redlands Road, A0008 Harbour Highway, U4085 Ramp Road, and A0002 Circular Road.

Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.

Shore Road, Larne

There will be an overnight only lane closure from Rectory Road to Ballypollard Road from Thursday, June 11 at 11:00pm until Friday, June 12 at 6:00am.

The closure is required for NI Railway bridge maintenance.

Traffic controls will operate, with delays of up to 5 minutes expected.
