Newtownabbey road closed due to ‘treacherous conditions’
Motorists are advised that the Upper Hightown Road is closed between the Horseshoe Bend and Hightown Road due to “treacherous driving conditions.”

A Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesperson said: “The B95 Upper Hightown Road has been closed between the Horseshoe Bend and the Hightown Road due to treacherous driving conditions.
“A gritting lorry has got stranded while out gritting. The road will reopen once the lorry is recovered and the road is gritted.”
