Traffic cones 'short term measure' to combat 'obstruction' at Roddens Court, Larne

Police in Mid and East Antrim say they will be placing traffic cones at Roddens Court, Larne as a short-term measure to combat ‘continued obstruction’.

In a social media post on Wednesday, September 9, a PSNI spokesperson said: “Larne Neighbourhood Policing Team have for some time been aware of ongoing waiting/parking issues on Roddens Court.

"The continued obstruction on the street presents difficulties, not only for residents, but also for emergency vehicles as well as waste management services.

"As a result, police will be placing cones along the street as a short-term measure until a long-term solution can be put in place. A site visit along with our statutory partners is scheduled for next week.”
