Two held in connection with murder inquiry
TWO people were being questioned on Tuesday in connection with the investigation into the murder of Kieran Doherty in Londonderry almost a year ago.
A 42-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were detained in the city on Tuesday morning.
The 31-year-old victim was a Real IRA member and was murdered by that organisation at Braehead in Londonderry last February.
Both those arrested were being questioned at Strand Road police station.
